The Day Before The Start........

Well, here we are.  Lands End.  7 hours to drive, goodness knows how many hours it will take us to ride back to Leyland, let alone to John O Groats, some 950 odd miles away.  And the joke is, our bums were sore from sitting in the car, think it might be more sore with all that cycling to soon start......

So this is what I have packed for food - is it enough I wonder?

Missing is a load of Soreen, and a ton of Jellybeans that were on special offer in a certain supermarket!

So, here we are enjoying a pint of Tribute, some local ale.  Ric's had half his pint and is already feeling light headed!!  What a wuss!!  Maybe its the excitement of tomorrow.

To think we've been planning this since early November and still we need to check a few things.

Oh well, off for a walk around and then the ride begins.........
